One of a kind, only one available.

A 19th-century French Bressan enamel brooch — a form of raised polychrome enamel paste work specific to the Bresse region of France, characterised by its jewel-like intensity and intricate gold vermeil filigree detail. The oval plaque is set in a scalloped silver border; the deep crimson enamel ground is decorated with raised gold scrollwork, crescent motifs, and green enamel dot accents throughout. At the centre, a white and green enamel flower with an emerald green glass stone, flanked by two ruby-coloured glass stones in silver cup settings. A piece of genuine antique significance — over 150 years old — in good condition with age-related wear consistent with its character.
