Swivel fobs were originally made to hold a pocket watch on a chain, swinging free so the watch could be read without unclipping it — this one, from the 1960s, has found a second life as a pendant. It hangs alongside a gold-plated sterling silver angel charm and a Swarovski crystal, both from 1980, on a designer house flat herringbone chain. The chain is designer house dead-stock — an unworn item stored for decades, sourced from a warehouse untouched since the '80s that supplied the likes of Liberty, Harrods, and Selfridges. The necklace closes with a gold-plated Albert clasp.
