A 1940s French Limoges porcelain cameo brooch — hand-painted, pocket-watch in form, framed in gold-tone filigree with faux pearls and rhinestones — reimagined as a pendant on an unused 1980s silver-plated chain. Limoges is one of France's most celebrated porcelain traditions; a hand-painted cameo of this age and detail is a genuinely rare find. The pocket-watch silhouette gives it a presence that goes well beyond a typical pendant.
Dead-stock vintage. An unworn item that has been stored for an extended period of time. Found in an untouched since the '80s warehouse that supplied the likes of Liberty, Harrods, and Selfridges.
