Vintage Triple Gold Chain Necklace with Joan Rivers Egg & Horn Charms — 1980s

Three layers of unused 1980s triple gold-plated chain — straight from the warehouse that supplied the great British department stores of the era — brought together with an unused Joan Rivers enamel Fabergé-style egg charm and new horn details. Joan Rivers built one of the most celebrated costume jewellery collections of the 20th century; this egg charm is exactly the kind of piece that made her legendary. The horn charms add a modern edge that keeps the composition from feeling too precious.

Dead-stock vintage. An unworn item that has been stored for an extended period of time. Found in an untouched since the '80s warehouse that supplied the likes of Liberty, Harrods, and Selfridges.
