Vintage Gold Link Chain Necklace with Jean Paul Gaultier Swarovski Oval Pendant — 1980s

A 1980s gold-plated link chain — straight from the warehouse that supplied the great British department stores of the era — paired with a signed Jean Paul Gaultier oval crystal for Atelier Swarovski in deep amber orange. The Gaultier for Swarovski collaboration produced some of the most collectible crystal pieces of the last decade; this oval cut in its warm, fiery colourway is among the most dramatic. The stone shifts between burnt orange, deep amber and copper red depending on the light — the kind of colour that makes everything around it look considered.

Signed Jean Paul Gaultier on the crystal. Both pieces unused. One piece only.

Dead-stock vintage. An unworn item that has been stored for an extended period of time. Found in an untouched since the '80s warehouse that supplied the likes of Liberty, Harrods, and Selfridges.
