Vintage Gold Chain Necklace with English Porcelain Perfume Pendant — 1980s

A 1980s gold-plated snail chain paired with a 1950s hand-painted English porcelain perfume pendant. The pendant was originally designed to hold perfume — a cotton insert inside carries the scent — and can still be used today with essential oils or a favourite fragrance. Jewellery with a function, and a beautiful one at that.

Dead-stock vintage. An unworn item that has been stored for an extended period of time. Found in an untouched since the '80s warehouse that supplied the likes of Liberty, Harrods, and Selfridges.
