Vintage Monet Pearl & Sodalite Necklace with Antique Watch Movement Pendant — 1980s

A 1980s Monet pearl and sodalite bead necklace — alternating cream seed pearls and deep chocolate coin pearls on a silver-tone chain — reimagined with an antique watch movement set at its centre. The pendant is a deep blue sodalite disc, bead-bordered in oxidised silver, with a miniature porcelain watch face at its heart: original hands, original numerals, honest age. The watch no longer runs. That is entirely beside the point. Time suspended, worn close to the body.

Monet was founded in 1929 and became one of America's most celebrated costume jewellery houses. This necklace carries that legacy into entirely new territory.
