Vintage Signed Carolé Gold Sculptural Flower Earrings with Red Enamel Centre — 1960s–70s

A signed pair of clip-on earrings by Carolé — the American costume jewellery company active from the 1960s into the 1970s. Each earring is a fully sculptural flower with large ribbed and ruffled petals in polished gold-plated metal, centred with a raised ribbed pistil surrounded by deep red enamel. The form reads as a poppy or camellia, rendered with the naturalistic detail characteristic of the best American costume jewellery of the period.
