Vintage Signed Michaela Frey Viennese Enamel Floral Bar Brooch — 1960s–70s

A signed bar brooch by Michaela Frey — the Vienna-based enamel manufactory founded in 1951, whose hand-decorated fire enamel pieces are now among the most collectible Austrian jewellery of the 20th century. The brooch is a wide elongated bar in a Delft-inspired blue and white palette: a white enamel centre panel with hand-painted blue and pink floral spray, framed by a blue border with cross-hatch detail at the terminals. Precise, refined, and entirely characteristic of Frey's early artistic period.
