A 1970s Wedgwood pale blue jasperware oval, set in a silver-tone bezel, worn as a pendant on a strand of hand-painted white porcelain barrel beads decorated with blue floral motifs. The classical dancing figure in white relief against the pale blue jasperware and the delicate blue-and-white porcelain beads form a palette so coherent it feels like the piece was always meant to exist this way. It wasn't — which is exactly the point.
